Our Impact

To date, the Gemma and Chris McGough Charitable Foundation CIO have supported 29 charities with grants ranging from £500 - £23,000.  Some of our favourite projects that we’ve been able to support to date are shown below:

Rainforest Trust - Saving the Asian Unicorn Appeal

In October 2019, the Gemma and Chris McGough Charitable Foundation gave a major donation towards Rainforest Trusts’ Saving Habitat for the Asian Unicorn appeal - https://www.rainforesttrust.org/projects/saving-the-asian-unicorn-in-the-greater-annamites/ 

The project aims to develop a sustainable model for conservation (including local community engagement and employment) in the Khoun Xe Nong Ma Provincial Protected Area, home to one of the highest concentrations of endemic and endangered species in the world, increasing protection for 131,000 acres of threatened rainforest and locking in over 24 million metric tonnes of CO2e.
